The Kingdom of Thailand formerly known as Siam is a beautiful country in Southeast Asia bordered by Burma and Laos to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the east, Malaysia to the south, and the Andaman Sea to the west.
Thailand has become a well-known tourist destination and has also attracted many expatriates from developed countries because of its scenic beaches, islands, food, and the people.
About 95% of the Thai people are Buddhists; it is also the national religion, around 4% are Muslims (of which the vast majority are in the southernmost provinces), and 1% are Christians, Hindus, and other religions.
In Krabi, south Thailand christianity is only about 0.5% of the population. As we have expressed in our letter, it is a prime place to invest in the Gospel. God opened the door for Jason and I to live here under the wing of Sowers International to join Kuya Roslen and Ate Phylla in the work He is doing. They have been praying for partners who can commit long term in the ministry, and even before Jason and I got married they already invited us to join them. Please continue to pray for God to work in the hearts of the Thai people and even those who are visiting the area; that God will touch them and allow them to understand His love and His word.
